What is a servo press?

Working principle of servo press:

The servo press uses a servo motor to drive the eccentric gear to realize the sliding motion process. Through complex electrical control, the servo press can program the stroke, speed, pressure, etc. of the slider arbitrarily, and can reach the nominal tonnage of the press even at low speeds.

The hydraulic cylinder is an important executive element in the servo press equipment. Under the high-speed and high-pressure operation of the hydraulic system, the load capacity of the hydraulic cylinder also increases, resulting in elastic or elastoplastic deformation and expansion of the inner diameter of the cylinder, which leads to the hydraulic cylinder. The wall swells, which causes the leakage of the hydraulic system and affects the normal operation of the four-column hydraulic press.

The following are the reasons for the low operating speed of the hydraulic cylinder of the servo press:

1. Exhaust air when working in the hydraulic system of a four-column press. Improper planning of hydraulic cylinder clearance leads to low-speed crawling. It can correctly plan the sliding fit clearance between the piston and the cylinder body, the piston rod and the guide sleeve in the hydraulic cylinder.

2. Low-speed crawling caused by uneven friction of guides in the hydraulic cylinder. It is recommended to prefer metal as the guide support. For example, choose a non-metallic support ring, and choose a non-metallic support ring with good dimensional stability in oil, especially if the thermal expansion coefficient is small. For other support ring thicknesses, the dimensional service and thickness consistency must be strictly controlled.

3. For the low-speed crawling of the hydraulic cylinder of the four-column press caused by the sealing material problem, if the working conditions permit, PTFE is preferred as the combined sealing ring.

4. In the manufacturing process of the hydraulic cylinder of the four-column press, the machining accuracy of the inner wall of the cylinder and the outer surface of the piston rod should be strictly controlled, especially the geometric accuracy, especially the straightness.
